But Aleem isn't just running for the thrill of the race. He's dedicated his marathon journey to supporting the incredible work of the Daraja Foundation.
The Daraja Foundation works closely with youth from Mazizini Children’s House, a local orphanage and children's home. The Daraja team empowers youth to achieve their full potential through mentorship, education scholarships and comprehensive support through the Flo Transition House - working with youth who have aged out of the children's home, through to their transition into adulthood. They aim to help these young adults break the cycle of poverty and become future leaders.
