We have a great volunteer network of creative, proactive and solution-driven individuals. Volunteers that work locally or travel abroad have an integral role in decisions around funding allocation and project management. Our volunteers work together by communicating their observations and experiences in order to determine what is needed and how the foundation can contribute to a cause.  We value time, contributions and advice from our volunteers towards the growth of the Daraja Foundation.
CREATE AN IMPACT
Daraja volunteers are on the ground working with communities, handing over supplies, equipment and donations. You will see firsthand the impact that projects have on the people and the communities they are serving. through with guidance from our board of directors and advisory board. ​

We're looking for individuals that are passionate about contributing toward sustainable development within communities, have a desire to learn and genuinely love building life long relationships and connecting with people.
WATCH YOUR EFFORTS LIVE ON
​Information and training is passed from one volunteer to the incoming volunteer in order to maintain our activities. The incoming volunteer has the opportunity to help further build, grow and improve the project.  Their expertise is passed on to the next volunteer and the cycle continues. This approach has allowed us to go forward and continue a solid movement with rationale and transparency.
FLEXIBLE & ADAPTIVE PROGRAMS
Our volunteers share the information and feedback they gather from various stakeholders in the communities we're serving. With guidance from management and the advisory team, we're able to work together to adapat and develop programs to suit the needs of the community.
WHICH PROJECT IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Volunteers can choose to support one or many of the Daraja projects, depending on their passion, skills, experience and their time commitment. Applicants are asked to identify their areas of interest when completing the application form. Daraja coordinators will be in contact with prospective volunteers to match them with specific projects that suit their interests and to discuss volunteer roles.
